The second issue of Euresis Journal deals with the ’mysterious’ role of creativity in scientific discovery. Creativity was the theme of a Symposium held in San Marino in the summer of 2008, whose title was: “Creativity and Creative Inspiration in Science.” The Symposium, organised by Euresis with the support of the John Templeton Foundation, was attended by several top-level scientists and scholars and was a success in terms of both contents of the conferences and passionate and fruitful discussions among the participants. We are happy to offer the proceedings of this Symposium as the second issue of our journal.
